Over 20 years experience in providing English Language Courses in Europe
English Alive was established in 2000.
Since that date it has been providing intensive English Language courses across Italy and France.
Thanks to English Alive's high standards of teaching, it has earned the trust of many schools and businesses. We continue to strive for the best education for our students, by keeping up to date with relevant research, finding and developing inspiring teachers, continual development of our curriculum and tailoring our courses for each individual student.
The Managing Director - Jess is an experienced teacher from the UK, with PGCE and CELTA qualifications. She is passionate about helping students realising and achieving their potential.

Our teachers are experienced and passionate about bringing the English Language to life for our students. They are all EFL qualified and most have CELTA and PGCE qualifications. It is a requirement that all our teachers are security checked. Our teachers receive an observation and we offer coaching sessions and teacher training opportunities. We promote creativity in the classroom and many of our fantastic teachers are drama, art and music specialists.

English Alive - our activities
In Italy, France & Spain, we partner with the English Departments of Primary, Middle and High Schools to provide our 'Boost Your English Course'- designed to complement the curriculum being followed by the school.
In France we also work with organisations providing 'Camp' experiences, providing an English language course that sits alongside the many other activities provided at such camps. We often work with the centre to create British themes (such as 'London' or 'Wizard School' that add fun and encourage learning engagement).
Jess is involved in many teacher communities and recently presented to the Italian 'TESOL' Conference about the advantages of teaching using 'Activity based Learning' model
English Alive - and the Community we serve
Our activities stretch beyond the classroom and our teachers really enjoy taking part in family and community activities. Typically, teachers are hosted by families in the local school community. Our hosts thoroughly enjoy this aspect of the program, as it provides an opportunity for the whole family (including parents) to practice and extend their English. Plus it’s really fun!
